I don't know about you, but when I started my journey with microdosing and learned about setting intentions, I approached that more like setting goals.
- Decide what you want
- Make a plan
- Stick to it
If this resonates, that the following story is for you.
Sunday morning, my client wrote for herself one simple phrase:
“Soul care.”
That was her intention for the day. She imagined she'd meditate, do some yoga or even a walk in nature. Just her regular self-care activities.
Later that day, she bumped into a friend and her friend mentioned he was heading to ecstatic dance later that day.
Something inside her stirred.
She hadn’t planned to go.
She didn’t even know if she was “in the mood.”
But instead of ignoring that tiny pull…
She followed it.
She asked to join.
He said yes.
She danced barefoot, surrounded by strangers and music and movement.

And when it was over, she said to the DJ:
“Thank you for taking care of my soul this evening”
Her story empahseizs the power of setting an intention and then letting life take care of fulfilling it.
She didn’t force the intention into a to-do.
She lived it.
By listening.
By staying open.
By letting the universe respond in its own way.
This is what attunement looks like.
It’s not about controlling the outcome.
It’s about aligning with the energy of what you want, and being present enough to recognize it when it arrives… in a way you didn’t expect.
A new way to set intentions:
1. Let it be simple.
Write it in your journal.
Whisper it in your heart.
Something like: “I want to feel connected,” or “I’m ready to receive clarity.”
2. Let it go.
No timelines. No pressure.
Let it float into the field.
3. Follow the aliveness.
Pay attention to what gently calls you.
A conversation. A class. A dance floor.
That’s where the magic lives.
You don’t need to force your desires into reality.
You need to stop gripping so tightly that you miss the opening right in front of you.
Let your intuition lead.
Let life surprise you.
Let your soul be cared for.
